Virat Kohli’s RCB engaged in preparations for IPL 2023
Despite not being fully fit, the dashing player will enter the league
New Delhi. Only days are left for the start of IPL 2023. With the new season and new hope, every team is eyeing the title. Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore is also included in this. RCB has not won the IPL title even once. This time, to end that drought, players like Virat Kohli, Faf Duplesey have put their gear up. There is another player from whom RCB has high hopes. He is Glenn Maxwell. However, Maxwell is not fully fit.
Glenn Maxwell returned to international cricket from the ODI series against India. But, did not land in Visakhapatnam and Chennai after the Mumbai ODI. Maxwell is still not fully fit. He will still take several months to regain full fitness. Despite this, he will enter the IPL from RCB. Maxwell himself has given an update on his fitness before the start of IPL.
Maxwell said, “The leg is fine now. But, it will still take several months for me to be 100 per cent fit. I hope that my feet will support me and I will be able to contribute to end RCB’s title drought. That is, Maxwell is playing despite not being fully fit. This is a big risk. Because if his injury re-emerges, then there can be a big loss.
