Women’s Cricket: There will be more than 300 international matches in 3 years, Indian team will play 62 matches

Future Tours Program of Women’s Cricket: The Future Tours Program (FTP) for the next three years for women’s cricket has come out. The ICC announced this on Tuesday. This first FTP of women’s cricket contains the details of bilateral series of 10 international women’s cricket teams from May 2022 to April 2025. Under this, a total of more than 300 international matches will be played in these three years. Apart from this, two T20 World Cups and one Asia Cup are also to be played during this period. Its details are not included in this FTP.

In this three-year FTP, 159 T20 Internationals, 135 One Day Internationals and 7 Test matches will be played under bilateral series. Part of the Indian team has come 62 matches in this FTP. The Indian team will play 36 T20 Internationals, 24 ODIs and 2 Test matches. Let us tell you that in this FTP, the bilateral series held from May 2022 to July 2022 has also been included.

The Indian team will host New Zealand, South Africa, Ireland and West Indies in these three years. At the same time, he will also have to tour England, Australia and Bangladesh. The T20 and ODI series against Sri Lanka included in the FTP have already been played in July.

Apart from FTP, these big tournaments are also in the queue

  • October 2022: Asia Cup
  • February 2023: Women’s T20 World Cup in South Africa
  • September 2024: Women’s T20 World Cup in Bangladesh
  • September 2025: Women’s Cricket World Cup in India
  • June 2026: Women’s T20 World Cup in England
  • February 2027: Women’s T20 Champions Trophy in Sri Lanka
