WTC Final: India just 280 runs away from creating history, such a big chase has not happened in The Oval till date
London: India need 280 more runs on the last day to win the final of the World Test Championship. If Team India does this feat, then the record books will be destroyed. On one hand it will be the biggest run chase in the history of Indian cricket and on the other hand it will also be the highest successful chase at The Oval Ground. Australia had set a huge target of 444 runs in the last session of the fourth day in front of India, in response to which Team India scored 164 runs at the loss of three wickets till stumps. The pair of Virat Kohli (44) and Ajinkya Rahane (20) returned unbeaten, between whom a run partnership has been done for the fourth wicket.
