2023 Honda Activa 125: Two-wheeler manufacturer Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched a new version of the best-selling scooter in the country. The new model is loaded with many new features. It also includes such features, which are not yet seen in any scooter in India. Honda has also launched the new S-Smart (H-Smart) model of Activa 125 in the Indian market. Earlier, the company launched the H-Smart variant for the Activa 110cc model.

The special thing is that now Activa 125 has been equipped with smart features in many ways. It is also getting a smart key to lock-unlock, which is an advanced feature. Price and Variants
Honda Activa 125 will be sold in four variants. The Drum costs Rs 78,920, the Drum Alloy costs Rs 82,588, then there is the Disc which retails for Rs 86,093 and the new H-Smart variant costs Rs 88,093. All prices are ex-showroom.

Features
The Honda Activa 125 gets LED headlamps with LED position lamps, a side stand cut-off system, fuel filler cap on the outside and a small digital screen. The screen shows information like time, mileage, fuse gauge and fuel efficiency in real time. A small open glove box is also available.

Design
There are very few updates in terms of looks. The LED positioning lamps have been redesigned and there are chrome strips on the side panels to make the scooter look more premium. 2023 Activa has been launched in 5 color options Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Midnight Blue Metallic, Pearl Night Start Black and Heavy Gray Metallic.

H-Smart Variants
Honda has introduced a new top-end variant called H-Smart. A smart key is available in it. Smart Key is equipped with features like Smart Find, Smart Safe, Smart Unlock and Smart Start. The smart key can be used to locate the scooter in the parking lot. It also gets an anti-theft system, which automatically activates the immobilizer once the key is taken out of range of 2 metres.

engine
There is no change in the engine other than being OBD2 compliant now. It comes with a 125 cc fuel-injected unit. The engine produces 8.19 bhp power at 6,250 rpm and peak torque output of 10.4 Nm at 5,000 rpm. Honda is offering an Idle Start/Stop feature, which turns off the engine when the scooter is at a standstill and restarts the engine when it is time to move.
