Bank Strike: Is there going to be a strike in the banks of the country on 27th June? Will banks be closed for 3 days?

Bank Strike: A top leader of the All India Bank Employees Association (AIBEA) said that the United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) has postponed the June 27 strike. UFBU is an association of several bank unions. This means that now there will be no strike on the proposed 27 June i.e. Monday in the banks.

Banks will not be closed for three days
The postponement of this strike will bring relief to the common people because it was believed that the banks of the country were going to be closed for three days due to the bank strike after the fourth Saturday and weekly Sunday holiday. Venkatachalam said, “The remaining issues include a five-day week for bankers, increase in conveyance allowance for physically challenged employees, uniform banking hours in branches, improvement in medical insurance and employee welfare schemes, fitment of ex-servicemen employees, Special allowances have been given to Central Government employees, in the northeastern states and others, in the form of reforms in pension rules.
