Honda Dio H-Smart: After launching the H-smart variant of the Activa 110 and Activa 125, Honda has now launched the H-smart variant of the Honda Dio. Recently the company has listed this scooter on its official website. The company has also revealed the price of Dio H-smart. The price of this scooter has been kept at Rs 77,712 (ex-showroom).

New Features of Honda Dio
The biggest update on the Honda Dio is the new H-smart key which makes it safer than a simple keyed lock. Normal key is no longer being given in the scooter, so the socket to attach the key is also not given. In this, you will be given a remote lock-unlock key like a car. The smart-key has a button to start and stop the scooter. This feature works when it is within a range of 2 meters from the scooter.
Safety gone after Smart Key
Along with the Smart Key feature, the company is also offering engine immobilizer function in the scooter. If you go away from 2 meters with the key of the scooter, then the scooter will automatically lock. Since the scooter cannot be opened with any ordinary key, its safety has increased manifold. With the help of this key, you can unlock the seat, fuel cap and handle of the scooter.
To start the scooter, the rotating rotary knob given in the scooter has to be pressed in the ignition mode and press the self start button. But this can happen only when the Smart Key is with you.
Talking about other updates of Honda Dio, the company is offering matte black alloy wheels in the new Smart Key variant. Apart from this, LED headlight, LED DRL and tail lamp have been given like the standard variant. The company has given external fuel cap, passing switch and front storage pocket in the scooter.

Talking about the engine, the company has not made any changes to the engine of the H-smart variant. It gets the same 109.51 cc single cylinder, air cooled, fuel injected engine as before which produces 7.95Bhp power and 9Nm torque. Combined braking system with drum brake has been given in this scooter. There is no disc brake option in it.
