Closing on market decline, Sensex falls 170 points to close at 61,624, Nifty below 18350

Stock Market Closing: Today’s closing of the domestic stock market has taken place in the red mark and the first trading day of the week was full of decline for the stock market.
The rise seen in Bank Nifty in the morning disappeared in the day’s trading and it closed with a fall.

At what levels did the market close today?
In today’s trade, the BSE 30-share index Sensex closed at 61,624.15 with a loss of 170.89 points or 0.28 per cent. On the other hand, NSE’s 50-share index Nifty has closed at 18,329.15, down 20.55 points or 0.11 percent.

Sensex and Nifty condition
Out of the top 30 stocks of the Sensex, 18 stocks rose and 12 stocks declined. On the other hand, out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 26 stocks were successful in closing and 24 stocks have registered a decline.

If we look at the sectoral index of Nifty, the business has closed with a green mark of growth in the auto, IT, metal, pharma, realty, healthcare index and oil and gas sectors. At the same time, the business ended with a decline in consumer durables shares along with banks, financial services, FMCG, media.

If we look at the names of the Sensex’s rising stocks, Kotak Bank has managed to close with a jump of 1.26 percent, Tata Steel 1.07 percent, PowerGrid 1.05 percent, IndusInd Bank 1.04 percent and Infosys 0.89 percent. Apart from these, if we talk about other stocks, then HCL Tech, Maruti, TCS, Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, Sun Pharma,
Shares of HDFC, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Asian Paints and Bajaj Finserv have registered gains.

Today’s Falling Stocks
In today’s falling Sensex stocks, Bharti Airtel, Reliance Industries, L&T, M&M, Wipro, Titan, NTPC, Bajaj Finance, Nestle, ICICI Bank, SBI, HUL, ITC and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories have closed on the decline.
