Hyundai Creta CNG has recently been spotted during testing.
New Delhi. Many car manufacturers are launching CNG vehicles in India. Due to this, South Korean automaker Hyundai has also decided to launch a CNG variant of one of its flagship models in India. It is expected that the CNG model of Hyundai Creta SUV can be launched in the Indian market.
As per Rushlane’s report, the new CNG-powered SUV was recently spied testing on Indian roads. It is likely to be launched at the Auto Expo 2023 to be held in January. However, there is no official information regarding the launch of Hyundai Creta CNG. This is not the first Hyundai car that has been spotted testing the CNG kit. Earlier Venue and Alcazar have also been seen with the testing kit.

Kia is also testing CNG car
Apart from this, Kia, the sister brand of the Korean automaker, has also been seen making efforts in the same direction. This is said because the Kia Carens and Seltos SUVs have also been spotted testing with the CNG kit in India. Hyundai already sells cars like Grand i10 NIOS and Aura with CNG in the Indian market.

Many new features will be available with safety
Hyundai Creta CNG is expected to be equipped with many features. The SUV is expected to get a large infotainment touchscreen with connectivity features, an electric sunroof, ventilated seats and more. Similarly for safety, the SUV could get six airbags, hill-assist control, electronic stability control and more.
Engine will be powerful
Hyundai Creta CNG model is most likely to be given a 1.4 liter turbocharged petrol engine. This engine can generate an output of 138 horsepower and 242 Nm of torque as standard. However, the output of the engine may be slightly lower with CNG fuel. It is expected that the company will come up with a fully manual transmission for the CNG model.
