Brezza was recently launched by the company in a new avatar.
The entry of Grand Vitara has also happened recently in the market.
There are over 4 lakh orders pending for both the cars.
New Delhi. The new generation Maruti Suzuki Brezza and Grand Vitara are currently the most popular cars of the company. Both these cars have tremendous demand in India. There are 4.12 lakh pending orders for these cars till the end of September.
To reduce the backlog, the company is increasing production at its Manesar plant. The company will start a new plant in Sonipat, Haryana in 2025. At present, the company produces 1.5 million units every year at its Manesar and Gurugram plants.

11,000 crore investment
Maruti Suzuki will invest Rs 11,000 crore for the new Sonipat plant which will manufacture 2.5 lakh units. The automaker will invest over Rs 7,000 crore this year on building a new plant in Haryana and launching new models.

Coming to Maruti Suzuki’s production plants, the Indo-Japanese automaker will showcase three flagship UVs (utility vehicles) at the 2023 Auto Expo in January. The lineup will include a new Baleno-based compact coupe SUV, a 5-door Jimny lifestyle off-road SUV and a new C-segment MPV. The Maruti Baleno Cross will be the first model to hit the roads. It is reported to come with a new 1.0L BoosterJet petrol engine with 48V mild hybrid SHVS system and Integrated Starter Generator (ISG).
5-Door Maruti Suzuki Jimny
The 5-door Maruti Suzuki Jimny is likely to be available for sale by the middle of 2023 and the MPV may arrive in the second half of 2023. Rumor has it that the company may also showcase the new generation Maruti Swift at the Delhi Auto Expo. The automaker will also bring the new Alto hatchback and CNG variants of the Brezza SUV.
