Elevate SUV coming to snatch Creta’s crown, will create sensation with look and features

New Delhi. The upcoming SUV from Honda Cars will host the global debut of the Honda Elevate midsize SUV on June 6, 2023. The market launch of this car will happen in the third quarter of this year. The company has teased this 5 seater many times.

This car will be sold along with Honda Amaze and Honda City in the company domestic product line-up. The length of the Honda Elevate will be around 4.2 to 4.3 meters and it will be based on the 5th gen updated version. Initially it will be sold with a 1.5L 4-cylinder NA VTEC petrol engine, which will generate a maximum power output of 121 PS and peak torque of 145 Nm.

Engine & Power
It will be mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard or a CVT automatic unit as an option. The NA engine-equipped variant will compete directly with the 1.5L NA petrol-engined Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos, the 1.5L mild-hybrid K15C powered Grand Vitara and the 1.0L turbo petrol versions of the Hyryder, VW Taigun and Skoda Kushaq.

Price can start from Rs 11 lakh
This car will be manufactured at the local level and its starting price can be Rs. 11 lakhs. The Honda Elevate will be sold with a 1.5L strong hybrid petrol engine, which will be mated to an e-CVT. This will help the Japanese brand compete directly with the strong hybrid versions of the Grand Vitara and the Hyrider.

Top spec model price
Talking about the exteriors, the new-gen WR-V sold in the markets will be quite similar. Honda has not yet revealed whether the mid-size SUV will be offered with ADAS-based driver-assistance and safety technologies. The top-spec variant costs around Rs. 18.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
