Get ready! 3 new cars to be launched next month, EV cheaper than 10 lakhs will also be unveiled

New Delhi. April 2023 will be packed with several car launches, from small affordable EVs to luxurious and luxurious crossover SUVs. Companies are preparing to launch their cars in the Indian car market.

1. Maruti Suzuki Franks
The Frox is a subcompact SUV based on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno and will compete with the Nissan Magnite and the Renault Kiger. It will likely be seen with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol Boosterjet engine that produces 100 hp and 147.6 Nm. There will also be a 1.2-litre, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol unit carried over from the Baleno that produces 90 HP along with 113 Nm.

Apart from this, the interiors of the Frox are also expected to have a lot in common with the Baleno, with features like 9-inch Smartplay Pro+ infotainment system with wireless smartphone connectivity, wireless phone charger, HUD, connected car tech, cruise control and more. The price range of Franks is expected to be between 7 lakh to 11 lakh.

2. MG Comet
Next up is the MG Comet EV, a 2-door compact EV that will be the smallest car in the MG line-up and one of the cheapest EVs available in the market with a price tag in the 10 lakh range. The Comet EV will compete with the Tata Tiago EV and the Citroën EC3, although it is a segment above them. The MG Comet will be based on the Air EV from Wuling, which is already a hit in markets like Indonesia.

Lexus RX
The last car in this list is the Lexus RX, a luxury crossover SUV expected to be launched in April 2023. The luxury car maker under Toyota will come in two variants – RX350h and RX500h. The former is powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 247 PS, with AWD optional and has a 0-100 km/h time of around 8 seconds.
