New Delhi. Hyundai introduced the facelift model of Hyundai i20 last month. The company had introduced it in the Indian market of Europe. It is one of the bestselling cars of the company in India. The customer base of this model is huge in India. Now the company is preparing to bring the facelift of this car in India as well.
The exterior changes are expected to be more or less similar to the Euro-spec i20 and could be launched towards the end of this calendar year or early 2024. The i20 competes directly with the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Tata Altroz and Toyota Glanza in India. In 2022, the Baleno got a major update both inside and out and this has definitely helped in boosting its sales figures.

The latest update for the Hyundai i20 was the introduction of the N Line variant in September 2021. Hyundai is also introducing three new color schemes Lucid Lime Metallic, Meta Blue Pearl and Lumen Gray Pearl in the Old Continent. In addition, a Lucid Lime interior color package with contrast inserts is also available. The Hyundai i20 is currently priced at Rs.7.46 lakh and Rs. 11.88 lakh (ex-showroom). A minor price hike is expected for the facelifted model. It will continue to be equipped with 1.2L three-cylinder NA petrol and 1.0L three-cylinder turbo petrol engines with manual and automatic transmission options.
