Hero Karizma will return to the market after 9 years, powerful engine, cool features
New Delhi. Hero MotoCorp is working on several new motorcycles for the Indian market including the XPulse 400 and the Xtreme 400S. A new media report has claimed that the company is all set to re-introduce the iconic premium motorcycle brand – Karizma in the country this year.
The new Hero Karizma will reportedly be based on the chassis and will be equipped with a new engine. The company has developed a new motorcycle platform, which will help the brand compete in the premium space. While the old Karizma was equipped with a 20bhp, 223cc air-cooled fuel injected engine.

Engine & Power
The new Hero Karizma will reportedly get a more powerful 210cc liquid-cooled engine. The new powertrain is expected to produce around 25 Bhp of power and 30 Nm of torque. This engine will be mated to a six-speed gearbox. Details regarding dimensions, suspension setup and braking system will be revealed in the near future. It is expected to share many styling elements from the outgoing model.

Hero Popular Bikes
Karizma has been one of the most popular motorcycle brands for Hero MotoCorp in the country. The updated bikes were introduced by the company in 2014. The previous generation model did not receive a good response from the buyers, and was eventually phased out from the market. With the new-gen model, Hero is looking to foray into the premium motorcycle segment. Hero currently has a good number of XPulse in the premium motorcycle segment. Xtreme 200S failed to create volumes for the company.
