Hero’s cheap bike is ‘mileage king’, runs on bad roads indiscriminately, will come home in small installment

The bike we are talking about here is Hero HF Deluxe. Hero HF 100 is available in single version only. Prices start from Rs. 59,990 for the base kick-start spoke wheel variant of the bike. The self-start variant without the i3S will cost you Rs 65,638, while the same model in the all-black color scheme costs Rs 66,438. The top-end variant with self start, alloy wheels and i3S technology costs Rs 67,138. The bike can be bought at a monthly installment of as low as Rs.2,100.

Bike is stylish than Splendor
The design of the HF Deluxe bike is quite simple. However, it looks a bit more stylish than the Splendor. The bike does not get digital instrumentation or any LED lighting. The analog console shows limited data like the speedometer and fuel gauge along with some tell tale lights. The more affordable Hero HF 100 comes in an all-black color scheme with red and gray stickers and simple blacked-out grab rails. Electric starter is also not available in this variant.

Bike gives 70 km mileage
Hero HF Deluxe gets the same 97.2 cc engine as the Splendor Plus. In BS6 avatar, this engine generates power of 8 PS and torque of 8.05Nm. Apart from fuel-injection and chunky cat-cones, there are no other updates to the engine. Hero claims that this bike gives a mileage of up to 70 kilometers per liter. It comes with a 4-speed gearbox.
