Honda’s new SUV coming to sour Creta’s teeth, booking started for just Rs 11,000, curtain will be removed on this day

Honda New SUVs: Honda is going to launch a new SUV in the Indian market after a long time. This mid-size SUV has started being discussed even before its launch. Let us tell you that the new SUV of the company will be Honda Elevate (Honda Elevate) which will be introduced in India on 6th June. The booking of this SUV has also started before the official launch in India. According to the information, the booking of Elevate is being taken at the Honda dealership for a token amount ranging from Rs 11,000 to Rs 21,000.

In India, Honda Elevate will compete with cars like Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser, Tata Harrier and Kia Seltos. The company has not officially announced its launch date. But it is expected that the Honda Elevate will be seen on the roads by August 2023.

What will the Honda Elevate be like?
Honda has discontinued all its diesel models in India due to the new emission norms. In such a situation, there is little hope that apart from petrol, the Elevate will also be brought in a diesel engine. If the news is to be believed, the company can use its new hybrid engine in Elevate. It will share the 1.5L petrol-hybrid engine from the Honda City which will be made available with an e-CVT transmission.

This hybrid engine of Honda is very good in mileage. This engine returns a mileage of 27.13 kmpl in the City sedan, while the Elevate is expected to return a mileage of 25 kmpl. Honda can launch it in front wheel drive (FWD) system, unlike its old SUV.

Features will be awesome
The Honda Elevate SUV will be as advanced as the City sedan in terms of features. The teaser shows that the company is offering a single-pane sunroof in it. Apart from this, this SUV will get many advanced features including wireless connectivity, ambient lighting, push button start / stop, wireless charging, voice assistant support, digital driver display, large infotainment display, rear AC vents and premium audio system.

The company can also provide ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) feature with Honda Elevate. The ADAS system could include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist, lane departure assist, automatic emergency braking, automatic high beam and low speed follow function to name a few. This SUV can be launched at a competitive price of Rs 11-12 lakh (ex-showroom).
