Hotstar’s gift to cricket lovers, will be able to watch Cricket World Cup for free

To give a tough competition to JioCinema, Disney+ Hotstar has announced for cricket lovers. The company has said that the company will do live streaming of major sports tournaments like Asia Cup and ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup tournament on its platforms. The company has also added HBO shows to its digital library. Disney+ Hotstar says that live streaming of the Asia Cup and ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup tournaments will be available on the company’s app. The company will not charge any fee for this.

After this announcement of Disney + Hotstar, JioCinema may get a shock, as the company achieved amazing viewership in the 16th season of IPL. Disney previously provided IPL matches and HBO content on a subscription basis. However, JioCinema is making this content available for free. In such a situation, Disney + Hotstar also had no way left to make these content available for free.

Apart from IPL and HBO content, JioCinema recently announced the streaming of the upcoming season of Bigg Boss OTT. That is, now you will be able to watch Bigg Boss OTT on JioCinema for 24 hours. Apart from providing the content for free, JioCinema is now also providing plans. It is not that JioCinema is only providing free content. This company has also made its subscription plan available. The company has introduced a premium plan of Rs 999 in which premium content will be made available. After Disney, it will be interesting to see which other OTT app takes such a step.
