How expensive is Maruti Brezza CNG compared to petrol model, buying a profitable deal?

New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki Brezza CNG has been launched. The SUV has been launched in a green avatar and this could increase its volumes further. With the launch of the CNG version of the Brezza, all cars sold through Maruti Suzuki’s Arena dealerships, including the Alto, WagonR, Swift and the Ertiga, are available with factory-fitted CNG kits.

Maruti Suzuki Brezza is one of the best selling models in the sub-4 meter compact SUV segment. It competes with Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet and Mahindra XUV300. While the Brezza had only a petrol option till now, the rivals had both petrol and diesel options. What the introduction of the Brezza CNG has done is that it has given the buyers more fuel options to choose from.

Yes, the upfront price of the Brezza CNG might be higher than that of the Brezza petrol, but there is no doubt that Maruti’s S-CNG technology is the best in the industry. While many fear that the use of CNG will adversely affect the engine of the car, Maruti’s S-CNG cars have been specially developed to run on the clean fuel. Brezza CNG Variants
The CNG version of Brezza has been launched in three variants – LXi, VXi and ZXi. The petrol option also gets the ZXI+ and is the range-topping variant. However, Maruti Suzuki has opted not to offer CNG with the ZXI+ variant.

Price and Mileage
Each variant of the Brezza CNG comes at a premium of Rs 95,000 over its petrol counterpart. Maruti Suzuki Brezza is claiming a mileage of 25.51km/kg for CNG.

Brezza CNG Features
The SUV gets features like LED projector headlamps, LED taillamps, alloy wheels, 7-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, cruise control, keyless push start and electric sunroof.
