New Delhi. After updating the Venue, one of its most popular cars, South Korean carmaker Hyundai is now considering launching an updated variant of the Verna. It has recently been seen during testing in India. It is expected that Hyundai will launch the updated Verna in India next year and it is likely that it will not even make it to the Auto Expo.
Here we are telling you what new can be found in the updated mid-size sedan to be launched in India next year? The price of the current model of Hyundai Verna starts at Rs. 9.43 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 15.52 lakhs. Otherwise it comes in 12 variants. The Verna top model costs Rs 14.38 lakh in petrol.

how will the design
The new Hyundai Verna may get new bumpers at the front and rear, new dual-tone alloy wheels, a shark fin antenna and LED lighting at the front and rear. The headlight will be redesigned along with the tail lamp. Verna will also get a new grille as compared to the current model. Overall, the 2023 Hyundai Verna will be updated without tampering with the design.

engine and power
The 2023 Hyundai Verna will be offered with the existing 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines that churn out 113 Bhp of maximum power. There will also be an option of a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine, which can generate power of 118 Bhp. Gearbox options will also be carried forward, including a manual, DCT, CVT and torque converter. A mild hybrid petrol engine is expected to be added.
Talking about the features, the 2023 Hyundai Verna can get many modern features with smartphone connectivity, connected car technology, wireless charging, ventilated seats, an electric sunroof and infotainment system. However, the biggest update could be in terms of safety as the Verna may get the ADAS system, which can make it a safer car.
These cars will compete
When launched next year, the 2023 Hyundai Verna will take on the likes of Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Vertus. The Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz are offered in petrol hybrid trims, which makes the Verna more likely to get a hybrid powered engine.
