CM Shivraj addressed investors at the Investment Opportunities in Madhya Pradesh program in Mumbai. CM Shivraj said that I have come to invite investment on behalf of 8.5 crore people of Madhya Pradesh. There is immense potential in all industries in Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh is a center of attraction for investors in all sectors including textile, food processing, pharmaceutical sector.

Road network laid in Madhya Pradesh
CM said that e-vehicle is the need of the future. It has been decided to build a park for e-vehicle companies in the state. We have laid a network of roads in Madhya Pradesh. Two expressways are being constructed in the state. Connecting the ravines of Chambal, the Atal Expressway and the Narmada Expressway from Amarkantak directly to the border of Gujarat are being built, on both sides of which industrial parks will be built. Green field airport is being built in Indore.
What is special in the state
CM Chouhan said that the irrigated area in Madhya Pradesh was 7.5 lakh hectares, which we have increased to 45 lakh hectares. The irrigated area will be 65 lakh hectare in the coming 3 years. Here in the last 15 years, the per capita income has increased from 30 thousand to one lakh 37 thousand rupees. The unemployment rate here is the country’s lowest at 0.8 percent. He said that Madhya Pradesh is a power surplus state. Thermal, hydro, wind, solar and renewable energy is being produced here. We make electricity from water and we also generate electricity from water. 600 MW of electricity is being generated from the floating solar power plant in Omkareshwar. For 10 consecutive years, we have registered an agriculture growth rate of more than 18%, which is a miracle. Infrastructure, health-education, good governance and economy and employment are the priority areas for the state government.
Industry friendly policy in the state
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state is also one of the prosperous states of the country from the point of view of tourism. Shri Mahakal Lok launched by Prime Minister Modi is attracting the attention of the world. A ropeway is being built for the pilgrims to reach the temple from the railway station. He said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state where labor reforms have been done. Now women in the state can also work in 3 shifts. There is an industry friendly policy in the state.
