The Press Information Bureau has fact-checked the claim that is going viral. In this fact check (PIB Fact Check), it has been found that this claim is completely fake. On this matter, PIB has informed in a tweet that it is a fake letter. The promise of providing Wi-Fi panels, 15,000 rent and jobs in lieu of a fee of Rs 650 under the PM-Vani scheme is absolutely wrong. The Telecommunication Department does not demand any kind of money from any person.
Along with this, only the government is starting Wi-Fi and broadband services in remote areas of the country under PM Vani Yojana (PM Wani Yojana Benefits).
