New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki is popular in the country for its hatchback cars. The company has also launched cars like Brezza and Grand Vitara to grab hold in the SUV segment. Although the company has launched a car earlier this year which is more premium than a hatchback and gives the feel of an SUV to drive. The Maruti Fronx has been receiving an overwhelming response from the customers since its launch.

Let us tell you that the booking of Fronx has crossed 26,000 units. Due to its huge demand, now in some cities people have to wait for more than 1 month to buy it. The biggest reason for its high demand is its look, size and comfort. The company’s premium hatchback Fronx is bigger in size than Baleno and the feel of driving it is like that of an SUV. Simply put, if your budget is not for Brezza but you want a SUV-like car, then Fronx will prove to be a better option for you. The company sold 8,784 units of the Fronx in April alone.

How is Maruti Fronx?
The Maruti Franks is offered with two engine options, including a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine (100PS/148Nm) and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (90PS/113Nm) with mild-hybrid technology. The first engine gets a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox option, while the second engine gets a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox option.

Talking about the features, Maruti Frons gets features like 9-inch infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, head-up display, cruise control, auto climate control and wireless phone charging. In terms of safety, it gets features like six airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), hill-hold assist, a 360-degree camera, ISOFIX anchors and ABS with EBD. The Fronx rivals the likes of the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger and the Nissan Magnite.

Variant and Price
Maruti Franks has been launched by the company at an initial price of Rs 7.46 lakh. Whereas for the top variant, its price goes up to Rs 13.14 lakh (ex-showroom). Franks has been made available in a total of four variants – Sigma, Delta, Delta +, Zeta and Alpha. The company is offering it in three dual tone colors and seven monotone colors. It is a 5 seater car with a boot space of 308 liters. If we talk about Brezza, then its price starts from Rs. 8.29 lakhs.
