Maruti’s new ‘Chhotu’ car launch, price less than 5 lakhs, will get full mileage

New Delhi. The Indo-Japanese automaker is updating its fleet vehicles portfolio. The company has launched Maruti Tour H1. This car is based on the company’s Alto K10. This entry level commercial hatchback is available in petrol and CNG versions. The price of this car starts from Rs. 4.80 lakhs and the top model costs Rs. 5.70 lakhs. The CNG version of this car is Rs 91,000 costlier than the petrol model. These prices are ex-showroom prices.

The Maruti Tour H1 Petrol uses a 1.0L, K-Series, Dualjet, Dual VVT naturally aspirated motor that is good for 65bhp at 5500rpm and 89Nm at 3500rpm. This is the same gasoline motor that powers the Alto K10. The CNG model gets the same petrol engine with a factory fitted CNG kit. It delivers peak power of 55bhp and torque of 82.1Nm.

great mileage
The new entry-level Fleet hatchback has a claimed mileage of 24.60 km/l with the petrol engine. Its CNG variant offers fuel economy of 34.46km/kg. Its maximum speed is 80kmpl. Standard safety kit on the Maruti Tour H1 includes dual airbags, ABS (Anti-lock Braking System), EBD (Electronic Brakeforce Distribution), front seat belts with load limiters and pre-tensioners, seat belt warnings and reminders both front and rear.

These features are available
Features like rear occupants, reverse parking sensors and engine immobilizer come with this car. The entry-level commercial hatch is being offered in three color schemes namely Metallic Granite Grey, Metallic Silky Silver and Arctic White color options.
