Skoda New SUV: Skoda Auto has launched a new model of its popular Kushaq SUV in the Indian market on Monday. The company has named the new model as Kushaq Onyx. The ex showroom price of this model has been kept at Rs.12.39. This SUV will fit in the mid variant. The company sells the Kushaq SUV in a total of 20 different variants. This also includes Anniversary and Monte Carlo editions. The new model will also be part of the existing lineup of SUVs. However, the company has told that only a few units of the new model will be launched in the market.

Skoda Kushaq SUV prices in India start at ₹ 11.29 Lakh ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹ 19.69 Lakh ex-showroom for the top-spec Monte Carlo Edition. It competes with Volkswagen Taigun, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara in the compact SUV segment.

The new model of SUV is very special
Many changes have been made in the design of the Skoda Kushaq new model. Along with this, some new features have also been added to make it special. To make the SUV sporty, new graphics have also been designed in its side profile, which is making it quite attractive. Apart from this, there will also be crystalline LED headlight units with DRLs. It also gets front fog lights with cornering function, rear defogger and Onyx badging on both ends of the SUV. On the inside, the car gets new wheel covers, leather seats, 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and automatic climate control.

The car comes with a 5-star safety rating
Skoda Kushaq is one of the safest SUVs sold in India. It achieved a 5-star safety rating in the Global NCAP crash test last year. In terms of safety, apart from dual front airbags, TPMS, ESC, other standard features have been given in the Kushaq SUV. The Skoda Kushaq Onyx will be powered by a 1.0-litre TSI turbo petrol engine capable of producing 114 Bhp of peak power and 178 Nm of peak torque. The engine will be offered only with a six-speed manual transmission unit.
