Nissan Magnite Geza: The market of affordable SUVs in India is growing rapidly. Keeping this in mind, Nissan India has launched the Geza Edition of its popular sub-compact SUV Magnite. This is a special edition of the Nissan Magnite which has been given many new features at a lower price. The company has kept its price at Rs 7.39 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Bookings for the Nissan Magnite Geza are already underway for a token amount of Rs 11,000.

Let us tell you that Nissan Magnite competes with cars like Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Franks and Hyundai Venue in the Indian market. However, after the launch of Magnite Geza Edition, it is being said that now it is going to increase the troubles of Frunks and Punch. After all, let’s know what is special in this SUV.

Features of Magnite Geza
In terms of features, the Magnite Geza Edition gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. JBL speakers have been given in it. Apart from this, JBL speakers, ambient lighting with app-based control, shark fin antenna and reverse parking camera with guidance have also been provided. Apart from this, the company will also make beige seat upholstery available as an option, which will make the interior feel more spacious.

The Magnite Geja will be offered in five mono-tone colours, which include Blade Silver, Flare Garnet Red, Storm White, Sandstone Brown and Onyx Black. This SUV is not made available in dual tone colour.

Magnite Geza: The engine is also powerful
The Nissan Magnite is available with a choice of 1-litre naturally aspirated and 1-litre turbo petrol engines. However, the company has introduced Magnite Geza with a naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 71 Bhp power and 96 Nm torque. The turbo petrol engine, on the other hand, is capable of producing 98 Bhp power and 160 Nm torque. The Magnite gets a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. The turbo engine also gets the option of a CVT automatic transmission.

Currently, the price of Nissan Magnite starts from Rs. 6 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 11.02 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Magnite competes with Tata Punch, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Citroen C3, Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon. It will also compete with the upcoming Hyundai Exter. The Nissan Magnite has received a 4-star safety rating for adult occupant safety by Global NCAP.
