No one is in collision! Maruti made a new ‘maharicord’, sold more than 20 lakh cars

New Delhi. Maruti Suzuki has announced that its Nexa dealership network has crossed the 2 million sales mark in the country. Maruti Suzuki NEXA currently has over 440 showrooms across 280+ cities. MSIL claims that 50% of NEXA customers are below the age of 35, indicating that the brand is gaining traction among the younger generation.

Maruti Suzuki currently sells the Ignis, Baleno, Ciaz, XL6 and Grand Vitara SUVs through NEXA dealerships. Where Ignis and Baleno are targeted towards hatchback buyers, Ciaz is a mid-size sedan. The XL6 is a 6-seater MPV based on the Ertiga. The Grand Vitara is the newest entrant to the Nexa line-up. The mid-size SUV is currently the most fuel efficient SUV in the country with a claimed mileage of 27.84 kmpl.

Maruti Suzuki will soon introduce two new SUVs at the Nexa showroom. Come April, MSIL will launch the Frons crossover. Based on the Baleno hatchback, the Frox will be pitted against the Renault Kiger and the Nissan Magnite. The crossover can be booked online or at NEXA dealerships by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000. It will be offered with two engine options – a 100bhp, 1.0L turbo petrol and an 89bhp, 1.2L NA petrol.

Jimny Lifestyle SUV
For off-road lovers, Maruti Suzuki will finally introduce the long-awaited Jimny lifestyle SUV in the country by May-June 2023. Interested buyers can book the SUV by paying a token amount of Rs 25,000. The SUV will be powered by a 105PS, 1.5L K15B petrol engine with idle-start/stop system. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be on offer.

NEXA’s sale crossed 20 lakhs
NEXA’s success in reaching the milestone of 2 million sales is a testimony to the customer’s love for our hi-tech and feature-packed offerings and premium experiences. NEXA has contributed more than 20% of the total Maruti Suzuki sales and the numbers are going strong. He added, “With the recent unveiling of two new SUVs – the Jimny and the Fronx, the NEXA portfolio looks stronger than ever. Both have earned a combined booking number of over 38,000. We are confident that Nexa Channel is set for more success in the coming year.
