New Delhi. Hero MotoCorp also entered this segment in 2022 amidst the increasing demand for electric scooters in the country and the company’s first e-scooter Vida V1 was launched. The scooter is currently being sold in some cities but soon Hero is going to strengthen its dealership network across the country along with increasing its electric vehicle portfolio. Now the problem that electric vehicle owners have to face, Hero has solved that too. Hero has now started developing an EV fast charging network to solve the problem of charging e-scooters.

The special thing is that this work has been started in three cities simultaneously. The company is going to set up 300 charging stations at 50 different locations in Delhi, Bengaluru and Jaipur. The location of these stations is also being uploaded in My Vida app so that you do not have any problem in reaching here and you can easily locate the charging station through navigation.

Will only leave the charge
The Vida V1 as well as the Ather e-scooter can also be charged at these charging stations without any extra fitment. This is because both Hero and Ather scooters use the same connector for charging. At the same time, you may have to buy an extra connector to charge other e-scooters.

Hero claims that both variants of the Vida V1 can cover a range of 1.2 km on this fast charging setup. Can be charged at the rate of per minute. That means it will take only 1 to 2 hours to fully charge the scooter at these stations.
