Ola’s Diwali blast! The company’s cheapest electric scooter launched, would like to know the price?

Customers can buy an electric scooter for Rs 85,000.
You can save Rs 6000 if you book before Diwali.
Electric scooter can run about 100 km on a single charge

New Delhi. Ola Electric on Saturday launched the Ola S1 Air electric scooter as the third variant of the S1 series. The special thing is that this is the cheapest electric scooter of the company so far. However, its range is less as compared to Ola S1 and Ola S1 Pro. It will compete with many petrol powered scooters in the market.

Ola Electric has highlighted its efforts to not only fight the challenge with a series of 3 electric scooters but also reduce the impact of popular scooters like Honda Activa, TVS Jupiter, Suzuki Access, Yamaha Fascino. Talking about the price of the scooter, customers will be able to buy it for Rs 85,000, however, those who book before Diwali will get this scooter for Rs 79,000 i.e. with more savings of 6 thousand.

battery and range
A 2.5 kWh battery pack is available in Ola S1 Air. This is smaller than the 3.97 kWh battery of Ola S1 Pro. It takes about 4.5 hours for the battery to be fully charged. The electric scooter has a 4.5kW motor. Ola Electric claims that the Ola S1 Air can cover a distance of around 100 kms in Eco mode per charge.

The top speed of Ola S1 Air is 90 kmph. This is much less than the top speed of 116 kmph. But the Ola S1 Air claims to accelerate from 0 to 40 kmph in 4.3 seconds, which is just a little longer than the three seconds it takes the Ola S1 Pro to do so. The S1 Air is quite light and weighs 99 kg. It also gets telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers, while it gets drum brakes.

The Ola S1 Air sports the same seven-inch TFT display as the S1 Pro. It also gets features like reverse button, hill-hold functionality, multiple profile set up and proximity alert. The recently launched MoveOS.3 will come as standard on the scooter. However, the cargo space is slightly less at 34 liters as compared to 36 liters on the S1 Pro.
