Punjab National Bank: If you have an account in Punjab National Bank (Punjab National Bank Account) and you have not yet updated KYC, then your account may also be closed. The bank has advised its customers to update it as soon as possible as per RBI regulation. Customers who have not updated KYC are being asked to update KYC by sending notice on address, SMS on phone and email.
In the guidelines issued by PNB, it has been said that according to the instructions of the Reserve Bank of India, by December 12, 2022, it is mandatory for all customers to update KYC under their accounts. If your account has become due for KYC update by 30.09.2022, notice, SMS already sent to your registered mobile number requesting you to update your KYC before 12.12.2022 Contact your base branch for the same. If KYC is not updated within this time, many services ranging from transactions will stop.
Where to update KYC
Punjab National Bank has informed through Twitter that you can get the process of KYC update done by visiting the Aadhaar branch and the branch of the bank. The bank said that the bank never calls any customer for KYC update. In such a situation, there is a need to be alert from fraudsters. To update KYC, you have to provide e-certificate, PAN, Aadhaar number and mobile number.

Giving information, Punjab Bank said that if you want to check your KYC update, you can contact customer care number 1800 180 2222, 1800 103 2222 and 0120-2490000 tollfree number. You can call the number 1800 180 2223 to check the balance. However, you have to call from the registered mobile number only. Information will be given through SMS after missed call.
