It is the best selling bike in India. However, to compete with the Splendor, Honda has now played a new game. Honda has launched its popular bike SP 125 in India with a completely updated version. The new 2023 Honda SP 125 has been launched in India at a starting price of Rs 85,131 ex-showroom.
This 125cc premium commuter motorcycle has been launched in two variants and now gets an OBD-2 compliant engine to meet the new emission norms. This bike will now be able to run on flex fuel (E-20) as well. The disc brake variant with the top model alloy wheel of the bike goes up to Rs 89,131 ex-showroom. The Honda SP 125 rivals other 125cc commuter motorcycles, including the Hero Glamour, Hero Super Splendor, Honda Shine and the TVS Raider.

What’s new in the bike?
Several features have been added to the SP 125 launched with the updated version, now it is compliant with the OBD-2 emission norms, which have come into effect from April this year. The SP 125 is powered by a 123.94cc single-cylinder air-cooled fuel-injected engine. This engine can generate 10.7 Bhp power and 10.9 Nm torque, which is linked to a 5-speed gearbox. Honda is also offering a new Matte Marvel Blue Metallic paint scheme and wider 100 mm rear tire with the SP 125.
