Stock Market Closing: Market recovered from lower levels, Sensex closed at 60836, Nifty closed at 18052

Stock Market Closing: The movement of the domestic stock market remained sluggish throughout the day and the Sensex-Nifty has closed in the red mark of decline. Today, the Sensex opened in the market by breaking 400 points in the morning, but it showed recovery in the day’s trading. However, it could not come out of the range of decline. The rally in midcap stocks helped the market to show improvement. Bank Nifty has also closed in the green mark with a boom.

At what levels did the market close today?
In the Indian stock market today, the BSE 30-share index Sensex closed at 60,836 with a fall of 69.68 points or 0.11 percent. On the other hand, the Nifty of NSE has closed at 18,052 with a fall of 30.15 points or 0.17 percent.

NSE stock status
On the day of weekly expiry, the stock market has closed in the range of decline. Today on NSE, a total of 1431 shares were trading with a fall and 1359 shares closed with a rise.

Sectoral index move
If we look at the sectoral index, Bank Nifty has closed with a gain of 1 percent from the lower level. Today there was a fall in the IT index, trading has closed with a big fall in metal stocks. Trading closed with a fall in auto, pharma and consumer durables stocks.

Today’s Stocks Rising
Today, out of 30 Sensex stocks, 14 stocks rose and 16 stocks declined. SBI, Titan, Bharti Airtel, HUL, IndusInd Bank, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Tata Steel, Bajaj Finserv, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries, Asian Paints, Axis Bank, Maruti and HCL Tech fell in today’s risers in the Sensex.
