boot space is great
The petrol model of Altroz offers 345 liters of boot space. On the other hand, talk about the CNG model, even after keeping two cylinders of 30 liters each, it gets a boot space of 210 liters. The company has used twin cylinder technology in which two cylinders have been placed under the boot area of the car. The stepney tire of the car has been placed under the rear bumper. Along with this, extra safety has also been given to the boot space to protect the CNG tank from rear collision damage.

Tata Altroz iCNG has been brought in a total of 6 variants – XE, XM+, XM+(S), XZ, XZ+(S) and XZ+O(S). Its Delhi ex-showroom price starts from Rs. 7.55 lakhs and goes up to Rs. 10.54 lakhs. Talking about the features, it will get 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with 4 speakers, keyless entry, electric power windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs, steering mounted controls, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear AC vents, TPMS, wireless charger, navigation and A sunroof with voice assistance feature is also available. It is the first premium hatchback in the country to get a sunroof with CNG.
engine and gearbox
The Tata Altroz iCNG gets power from the same 1.2-litre Revotron engine as the petrol model. In petrol mode this engine produces 88hp power and 115Nm torque, while in CNG mode it generates 73.5 bhp power and 103 Nm torque. All variants of Altroz CNG have been given a 5-speed manual gearbox. Automatic gearbox option is not available in it. Tata Altroz returns an ARAI certified mileage of 19.33 km/kg in CNG mode.
