The game of EV market is going to change, Mahindra has prepared, will snatch the crown from Tata

New Delhi. Earlier this year, Mahindra & Mahindra introduced the XUV400 electric SUV in India. The domestic SUV maker is currently working on a number of zero emission products and most of them were showcased in concept versions last year. The upcoming lineup of e-SUVs under the XUV.e and BE range will be built on a dedicated skateboard platform.

The brand had also confirmed the tentative launch timeline for the all-electric SUV in August 2022. The Mahindra XUV.e8 will be launched first in December 2024 and will be based on the INGLO architecture. This will be followed by Mahindra XUV.e9 in April 2025 and BE.05 in October 2025.

Spotted during testing
The Mahindra BE.05 was recently spied testing on public roads for the first time. The spotted model was equipped with heavy camouflages. However, the design elements of the front fascia are quite visible. The prototype has been fitted with dummy lights on the bumper and a slim air intake can be seen in the middle. It will be a direct rival to the Tata Curvv coming in 2024.

confirmed features
The interior of the Mahindra BE.05 concept features dual touchscreen layout, two-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, rotary controls and gear selector, gray and beige cabin theme, adjustable headrests, bucket seats. The test mule confirms features like C-shaped LED headlamps, a swooping bonnet structure, a heavily raked front windshield, toned-down wheels, squared-off wheel arches. There may also be flush-type door handles. The rear of the car is yet to be seen. More information about this car will be revealed in the coming times.
