These cars are selling very fast, 1.70 lakh models were sold in a month, thousands of customers are still in line!


Baleno, Celerio, Ignis, Swift and DZire are the top selling models.

Maruti Suzuki Cars: There is a huge craze for Maruti Suzuki vehicles in India. This is the reason that the sales of Maruti’s cars remain the highest. Maruti Suzuki India has told that they have sold more than 1.70 lakh cars in total in March 2023. During this period, the company has exported 1,36,787 vehicles and more than 30,119 cars. Maruti Suzuki sold the most number of compact vehicles including Baleno, Celerio, Ignis, Tour S, Swift and DZire.

Maruti Suzuki has made a record by selling a total of 19,66,164 cars in the entire financial year 2022-2023. In this total sales figures, 16,44,876 cars have been sold in the domestic market, which is 20.5 percent more than in the financial year 2021-22. In March, a total of 15,491 units of cars were sold in the mini segment with cars like Alto and S-Presso. Compact vehicles had the highest sales. A total of 82,314 cars have been sold in this segment.

The highest demand for these models
Maruti Suzuki sold 1,384 units of the Ciaz in March, which is much higher than the same period last year, as the figure was only 300 units. Sales of utility vehicles stood at 25,001 units. This segment includes Grand Vitara, Brezza, S-Cross, XL6 and Ertiga. Eeco sales declined to 9,221 units from 11,995. Maruti Suzuki also informed that it faced shortage of electronic components like semiconductors in the financial year 2022-23 and says that they have taken all possible measures to mitigate the impact. However, this affected the production of cars to some extent.

Maruti is bringing 2 new cars
Currently Maruti Suzuki is working on launching the Frons and Jimny in the Indian market. Both the cars have been unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023. The Franks is a car between the Baleno and the Brezza. To enhance the practicality of the off-roader, the Jimny is coming to India in its 5-door avatar. The Jimny will be sold in two variants, both of which will be offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 4-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
