New Delhi. Mercedes-Benz is expanding its lineup of luxury electric vehicles (EV) in India. In this sequence, the company has launched its new electric SUV EQB (Mercedes-Benz EQB) in the Indian market. The company has launched this electric SUV at an ex-showroom price of Rs 74.5 lakh.

According to the price, this electric SUV is also getting better range, luxury features and extended seating option. Despite having an electric platform, the company has given a lot of space in this SUV. In terms of space, the EQB can be compared to the company’s V-Class luxury SUV.

First electric SUV with three row seats

The main highlight of the Mercedes-Benz EQB is its three-row seat configuration. This is the first such electric SUV in the market in which seats are available in three rows. The EQB is a 7-seater SUV in which a large family can travel easily. It has two seats in the front row, three seats in the middle row and two seats in the last row. Despite being a 7-seater, it gets better leg space in every row.

Equipped with Powerful Battery and Motor

The Mercedes-Benz EQB is a full-size electric SUV that measures over 4-metres in length. Powerful motor battery has been used to power such a big SUV. A 66.5 kWh lithium ion battery has been used in this SUV. Its electric motor generates 226 Bhp power and 390 Nm torque. It offers a drive range of 423 km on a full charge.

Luxury features no answer

The company has prepared it on the skateboard platform. Because of this, it has helped in increasing the features along with the space. It has full LED headlamps, LED strip tail light, multi spoke sporty alloy wheels, roof rails, wide tyres, sensor boot door, MBUX floating infotainment display and driver display. Bookings for the Mercedes-Benz EQB are underway at select showrooms.
