This most powerful sedan of Mercedes will be launched in India, Toyota Fortuner also fails in front of it

New Delhi. Mercedes-Benz is going to launch its most powerful AMG (AMG) sedan AMG GT 63 SE in India. The company will launch it in India on 11 April. It is the most powerful AMG car ever made by the company.

This Mercedes-Benz sedan is also very advanced in terms of engine and features. Its engine is based on the hybrid powertrain. The company is using an electric motor along with the petrol engine in it. Overall, this engine gives the car a lot of power.

strong engine

The electric motor of the Mercedes-Benz AMG GT 63 SE alone can generate 204 Bhp of power. Whereas the 4.0-litre twin turbo V8 engine in the car produces 639 Bhp power. This engine is capable of producing a combined maximum power of 843 Bhp and peak torque of 1,400 Nm.

The engine was mated to a 9-speed automatic gearbox. This car is based on 4 wheel drive system. Talking about the performance, this AMG sedan can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 2.9 seconds. Its top speed is 316 kilometers per hour. This car can run up to 12 kilometers only on battery.

There is no break in the features

Mercedes’ new AMG sedan is equipped with powerful engine as well as great features. Two large 12.4-inch screens have been installed in its cabin, which serve as the infotainment display and instrument cluster. The company is giving exclusive sports seats and sports design elements in its interior.

To enhance the driving performance, it has been given four drive modes – Race, Electric, Slippery and Comfort. Apart from this, a dynamic controller has also been given in the car, with the help of which many elements of the car can be customized as per the choice.

Fully built units of the Mercedes AMG GT 63 SE will be brought to India through the CBU route. The company can also disclose the price as soon as the launch date comes closer.
