This is the premium sedan of the company Ciaz. The company introduced the car with petrol and diesel engines, as well as hybrid technology. People liked the car very much. Loaded with luxury as well as features, the sale of this car increased rapidly. But in 2023, the sales of this car went on decreasing. At the same time, in the last three years, there was a tremendous decline in its sales.

Lowest Selling Ciaz
Among Maruti’s cars, Ciaz’s sale was the lowest in March and April. This figure could not show anything amazing even in May. In April, 1017 units of Ciaz were sold, while in March only 300 units could be sold. The sale of this car was less than Maruti’s flop S-Presso and Ignis.

Why did the cell fall
According to auto experts, the biggest reason behind the drop in sales of the Ciaz is the shift towards compact SUVs. People are now preferring compact SUVs more in urban traffic. At the same time, they are getting better features and a more practical car at this price. Which they can drive easily as compared to sedan.

The company offers a 1.5-litre petrol engine in the Ciaz. This engine generates power of 105 bhp. The features in the car are also great. On the inside, you get dual tone upholstery. There are many more features like ESP, hill hold assist, dual airbag ABS, EBD, rear parking sensors, ISOFIX child seats, infotainment system and steering mounted controls.

The price of the Ciaz is also much lower than the premium sedans of other companies. The starting price of Ciaz is Rs. 9.30 lakh ex-showroom. Whereas for the top variant, you will have to spend Rs 12.29 lakh ex-showroom. At the same time, the company had also updated the car in February 2023 and along with this, dual tone exterior color has also been given in it.
