A plan has been made by TRAI to counter unwanted calls and messages. Under this, complaints of fake and unwanted calls received from the Home Ministry and Cyber Cell on behalf of TRAI will be shared with the telecom companies. After this, telecom companies will be able to take action against such fake calls and messages. Also, separate series numbers will be issued to telecom companies like Jio, Airtel BSNL for banking, marketing.
