However, there are some ways that you can deal with these spam emails. You can either block the sender or unsubscribe or even filter them and delete these emails in bulk. Here are some easy tricks to block spam email senders or all emails in bulk.
How to block spam email on Gmail:
- Open your Gmail account.
- Now click on the spam mail you want to block.
- Then click on the ‘More’ or i icon at the top right of the mail.
- Click ‘Block’ to stop the sender from sending you any future emails.
- Once the sender is blocked, all their messages will automatically go to Gmail’s spam folder.
- If you have blocked someone by mistake, you can unblock the sender at any time.
How to unsubscribe from mass email on Gmail:
- Open Gmail.
- Now go to the mail from the sender you want to unsubscribe from.
- Next, click on the Unsubscribe or Change Preferences option next to the sender’s name.
- You can also block messages or mark them as spam.
- The sender’s mail subscription will be unsubscribed after a few days of following these steps.
How to Use Gmail Filters to Detect Spam Email:
- Open Gmail and search for unsubscribe email in the search box.
- Select all the spam emails you want to get rid of from the list of promotional emails.
- Click on the three dots available on the top right corner and click on “Filter messages like this”.
- Select something you want to do to future spam email, such as “Delete it,” “Mark as Spam,” “Mark as Read” or “Apply Label.”
- Click “Create Filter” to save the filter and paste it to do this on all future emails like this one.
How to bulk delete email on Gmail? To delete all messages from your Gmail inbox on your desktop or smartphone, follow these steps:
- First of all open Gmail in your browser.
- In the Inbox section in the top left, click the down arrow to select All messages.
- If you have more than one page of messages, you can click “Select All Conversations” instead.
- Click “Delete” to move all selected messages to the Trash.
To delete messages in bulk from a specific category:
- First of all, you have to open Gmail in your browser.
- Select the category page from which you want to delete the message, such as Primary, Promotional or Social etc.
- To select all, click the checkbox in the top left corner of the message.
- Click “Delete” to move all selected messages to the Trash.
Follow these steps to delete unread spam or unwanted emails in bulk:
- Open Gmail in any browser.
- In the search bar for Inbox or other category, type ‘label: urid’ and press Enter.
- Gmail will show all your unread emails. You can also select read only messages by searching for ‘label:read’.
