New Delhi. Meta-owned company and instant messaging app WhatsApp (WhatsApp) has banned more than 4.5 million Indian accounts in February. This has been revealed in the monthly report of WhatsApp. This is more than the number of accounts banned by WhatsApp in the month of January. According to the report, WhatsApp banned 29 lakh accounts in January, 36 lakh accounts in December and 37 lakh accounts in November. According to several media reports released on Saturday, between February 1, 2023 and February 28, 2023, 4,597,400 WhatsApp accounts were banned. Of these, 1,298,000 (1.2 million) accounts were actively banned.
