However, users will no longer be able to view photos or videos from the desktop under View Once. The instant messaging app has removed the View Once message capability from the desktop. According to a report by Wabetainfo, WhatsApp has removed the ability to send View Once messages on its desktop version from November 1.

A screenshot has also been shared in the report, which shows that the View Once message sent on WhatsApp will not open on the desktop version. In the screenshot, a notification is also visible in the message box, in which it is written that you have received the View Once message. Due to privacy, you can open it only in your phone.

The company introduced the screenshot blocking feature with View Once Message only last month. At present, this feature is available for only a few beta users.
