Looks and Design
Hero has updated the Glamor a lot since it was first launched. It still looks modern with the LED headlamp, dual-tone paint scheme and the rear-end. The Shine, on the other hand, hasn’t been updated significantly. Design is still available in Shine, which may seem a bit simple.

Engine & Power
Both the motorcycles get a 124 cc single cylinder engine. Both are air-cooled engines. Comes with fuel-injection. The Glamor generates 10.87 PS of power and 10.6 Nm of torque while the Shine generates 10.7 PS of power and 11 Nm of torque. Both the motorcycles use a 5-speed gearbox, but the Shine comes with a silent starter system.
In terms of features, the Shine only gets engine kill switch, i3s start-stop technology, auto sell technology and a real-time fuel indicator. For more features, one will have to buy the Xtec variant, which gets an LED headlamp, a USB port, Bluetooth connectivity, a gear position indicator and a bank angle sensor.
Honda Shine price starts at Rs 78,414 and goes up to Rs 83,914, while Hero Glamor price ranges between Rs 78,018 to Rs 84,138. All prices are ex-showroom. Both the motorcycles are priced very similarly, but the Glamor gets more features and looks more modern as well.
