Akash Ambani, chairman of Reliance Jio Infocomm, has said, ‘We will celebrate ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ with 5G rollout across India. Jio is known for providing world-class, affordable 5G services. We will provide services, platforms and solutions that will drive India’s digital revolution, especially in critical areas such as education, healthcare, agriculture, manufacturing and e-governance. Anyway, at present, Jio’s 4G pre-paid plans are cheaper than other companies.

Airtel has also said that it is also preparing to launch 5G commercially this month. Airtel has also partnered with Nokia, Ericsson and Samsung for the launch of 5G in the country. Airtel has not clarified anything about the price of the plan, but telecom industry experts say that the company’s plans will not be like 4G. The price of 5G plan is estimated to be up to 15 percent higher than that of 4G.

Vi (Vodafone Idea)

Talking about the 5G plan, Ravinder Takkar, managing director of Vodafone Idea, has said that 5G plans will be premium compared to 4G, although more data will also be given with 5G plans than 4G. Takkar says that the company’s huge money has been spent in the purchase of 5G spectrum. In such a situation, it is clear that Vodafone Idea’s 5G plans are not going to be cheap.
