Wi-Fi 6e support will be available in Apple iPhone 15 series, internet will run at lightning speed

Apple is preparing to introduce the iPhone 15 series this year. According to popular Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Wi-Fi 6E will be standard in the upcoming iPhone lineup. So did Barclays analysts Blaine Curtis and Tom O’Malley. Although he did not say which models would be equipped with this feature. Apple already offers Wi-Fi 6E in the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models, the new Mac mini, and the 11 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models that arrived in 2022.

iPhone 15 Series Wi-Fi 6E Support

Using a compatible router and cable modem, Wi-Fi 6E devices can connect to the 6GHz band, delivering faster speeds, lower latency, and a better experience over standard 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies.

It is the first Wi-Fi standard that can connect to networks at 6GHz. The older Wi-Fi 6 standard could only connect to 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks. Wi-Fi 6E is becoming more popular, but users need a Wi-Fi 6E router to get the most out of it. A MacRumors report claims that several manufacturers, including Linksys, ASUS, and Netgear, are already offering Wi-Fi 6E hardware.

iPhone 15 launch and expected specifications

Apple iPhone 15 series is expected to arrive every year, which includes four smartphones. These include the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which could be renamed the iPhone 15 Ultra. According to a recent report, these smartphones will not come with a curved display but will have curved edges. All the models are said to come with the Dynamic Island feature, which was seen in the iPhone 14 Pro model.

Meanwhile, Kuo recently said that the volume and power buttons on the iPhone 15 Pro will be solid-state devices. He added that if this modification goes well, more high-end devices could do the same in the future. A report indicates that Apple plans to ramp up iPhone manufacturing in India. More will be known about the upcoming iPhone 15 series in the coming times.
