Bipasha Basu has given birth to her first child. Bipasha and Karan Singh Grover had informed about the pregnancy in August this year by sharing a picture from a maternity photoshoot. Bipasha had revealed the name of her daughter while sharing the news on Instagram. Sharing a picture of her daughter’s feet, Bipasha wrote the child’s date of birth: 12.11.2022 and named her: Devi Basu Singh Grover. He wrote, “The physical manifestation of our love and blessings of Maa is now here and she is divine.” On this post of his, Sophie Choudhary wrote, ‘The best news ever. God bless your little angel.

In an interview with Hindustan Times, Bipasha Basu shared that she and Karan were planning a child before the Covid-19 pandemic, but dropped the idea due to the outbreak of the pandemic. In 2021 we planned again and God blessed us. Bipasha also recalled the time when she came to know about her pregnancy and said, it was a very emotional day. I remember Karan and I ran to my mother’s house as soon as we found out, she was the first person I wanted to tell. Everyone was emotional. It was my mother’s dream that I and Karan have a child. I believed we would and it happened.
Karan and Bipasha tied the knot on April 30, 2016. They fell in love on the sets of their 2015 film Alone. Recently Bipasha revealed that she is on bed rest. Sharing a picture of herself lying on the bed, the actress wrote on Instagram, “It’s not fun being in bed when you have so much work to do before the baby arrives. Just chill.”
