Akshay Kumar also clarified that the title of his latest release ‘Katputli’ was never Mission Cinderella. Kapil Sharma posted a video on his YouTube channel titled ‘An Explicit Real Time Interview with Katputli Team-Uncensored’. In the video, Kapil interacts with the puppet team comprising Akshay, Rakul Preet Singh, Chandrachur Singh and Sargun Mehta as well as filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani.
During his conversation with Akshay, Kapil told the audience, “While the shooting of Katputli was going on in London, there was a rumor that the name of the film is Mission Cinderella. Later it was changed to Katputli. Then he asked Akshay, ‘Did any priest do this or did he not get a visa?’
Was the title of ‘Puppet’ Mission Cinderella?
Akshay replied, ‘Mission Cinderella never existed. Who said this Mission Cinderella? Mission Cinderella was never the name of a movie. That my Mission Mangal film had gone, so someone said, put Mission Cinderella. He also said, ‘How will Mission Cinderella happen? It is a psycho-thriller. What will be the mission of ISKA?
Kapil’s business runs on rumors
Looking at Archana, Akshay said to her, ‘After this he fumes on rumours, anger comes on him.’ Kapil laughed and said, ‘Our business is running on rumours, what should we do.’ Earlier, several reports said that the puppet was earlier named Mission Cinderella.
‘Katputli’ released on Disney Plus Hotstar on September 2. Produced by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Pooja Entertainment, the film is directed by Ranjit M Tiwari.
