13 year old boy was plotting to open fire in Jewish synagogue, court gave this punishment

A 13-year-old boy has been sentenced to one year’s probation for planning to carry out a shooting at a Jewish synagogue in America. ‘Probation’ is a punishment in which a convict is allowed to live with family, friends or in his own community under certain conditions, but he remains under the supervision of a probation officer. According to the news of ‘The Canton Repository’ newspaper, the minor resident of Ohio accepted the charges of creating chaos and unruly conduct on Friday.

Authorities said a detailed plan to carry out a mass shooting at Temple Israel in Canton was posted on the live streaming platform Discord. Stark County Family Court Judge Jim James ordered a sentence of probation but suspended her sentence of 90 days in a house of correction, according to a court document. The boy is also barred from unsupervised internet access and ordered to continue counseling with a licensed therapist.
