Singapore: There was panic among the passengers due to the threat of bomb in the Air India flight going from India to Singapore. There was chaos among everyone till the emergency landing took place. But when the plane made an emergency landing in Singapore, there was a rumor that there was a bomb threat. According to Singapore Police, no bomb was found in the Air India Express plane during investigation. The plane landed in Singapore more than an hour after its scheduled arrival time. Police said no bomb was found after a low-cost airline plane from the Indian city of Madurai completed security checks at Changi Airport. After this the passengers also heaved a sigh of relief. Let us tell you that the airline had received information through e-mail about the presence of a bomb in flight number AXB684, which landed at Singapore’s Changi Airport at 8.50 pm on Tuesday night. After this the aviation officials came into action. There was panic among the passengers. The aircraft landed at 10.04 pm under the protection of two F-15 fighter planes of the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF).

This aircraft was escorted by 2 F-15 aircraft of Singapore after the bomb threat. Police said they received a call about the bomb threat at 8.25pm ​​and completed the investigation after the plane landed, The Straits Times reported. Police said the investigation is ongoing and action will be taken against those deliberately creating public fear. Flight tracker Flightradar24 showed the plane circled over Singapore’s east for about an hour before landing.

“Two of our RSAF F-15SG aircraft diverted the aircraft away from the populated area and safely landed at Singapore’s Changi Airport at about 10.04pm tonight,” Defense Minister Ng Eng Hen said in a Facebook post. “Our ground-based air defense systems and explosive ordnance disposal teams were also activated.” He said that as soon as the plane landed, the responsibility of investigation was handed over to the airport police.
