New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a 2-day visit to Brunei in the first week of September. This will be the first bilateral visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Brunei. Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah has sent an invitation to PM Modi. He will visit Brunei on the invitation of Sultan Haji before his visit to Singapore. This information has been given by the Indian Foreign Ministry. This will be a historic visit of PM Modi.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal says, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Brunei on 3 and 4 September at the invitation of Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah. This will be the first bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister. He will then visit Singapore on 4 and 5 September 2024 at the invitation of Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong. (Input-ANI)
