Los Angeles: A big news has come out from America regarding the use of Covid-19 vaccine. According to the latest report from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the use of Covid-19 vaccine in America has been much lower than expected. Only 14 percent of American adults had received the updated COVID-19 vaccine as of Nov. 4, the report said. This means that 86 percent of American adults still have not been able to get the updated Covid vaccine. CDC said, due to Covid-19, elderly people and people suffering from other diseases are dying and a large number of people are also being admitted to the hospital.

‘Vaccine is effective in saving people’s lives’

According to the CDC, the COVID-19 vaccine does not prevent every infection, but it does reduce the severity of the disease in people who are either elderly or already suffering from some disease. It said that on one hand, due to the vaccine, lives are saved, while on the other hand, the number of people being admitted to hospital and visiting doctors decreases. CDC data shows that an estimated 14 percent of American adults had received an updated COVID-19 vaccine as of November 4.

‘Vaccine is necessary for additional protection’
The CDC said more than two-thirds of older adults have not received the updated COVID-19 vaccine and need this additional protection. The data also showed disparities in vaccine uptake by race and ethnicity. The CDC noted that there are many social, geographic, political, economic, and environmental factors that create challenges for vaccination access and acceptance. Let us tell you that America was most affected by Corona virus where 10.95 crore people were infected and 11.83 lakh people lost their lives.
