Bomb threat in Air India plane.
In the last few days, cases of bomb threats on airplanes are increasing rapidly in India. According to PTI, a bomb threat message was received on social media platform X on Tuesday on seven planes. After this, security agencies had to conduct anti-terrorism exercises at many airports. Meanwhile, now big news is also coming out from Singapore. Here, an Air India plane which had received a bomb threat had to send fighter planes to land it safely.
Singapore’s Defense Minister Ng Eng Hen tweeted on Tuesday that Air India Express received an email that flight AXB684 bound to Singapore contained a bomb. After this, two RSAF F-15SG fighter planes of the Singapore Air Force took off and took the aircraft away from populated areas. After this, the plane landed safely at Singapore Changi Airport at around 10.04 pm.
Singapore’s Defense Minister has said that our ground based air defense etc. have been activated. After landing on the ground, the Air India plane was handed over to the airport police. The plane is being investigated. Singapore’s Defense Minister has thanked the Air Force for this work.
